Silence and Islands
The head produces bars or beautiful sea islands.
You only see restrictions, problems and obstacles?
Then you should ask yourself, if all this really is an image of reality. Most likely, you have just missed the right attitude. Whether we see the future as gloomy or at best uniform, or as a sea full of opportunities, that is actually decided in our heads. You need to change your way of thinking. I need to change my way of thinking. I recognized being quite pessimistic and that needs to change!
The last of human freedoms is choosing the attitude to things. A yellow wallpaper remains a yellow wallpaper. It does not turn red, even if you do nothing for an hour every day except of looking at the wall. And when it’s really hot or very cold outside, it will stay that way, whatever you do. But whether you feel comfortable in the yellow room, at minus ten or plus thirty degrees or not, that is not a matter of fate, but your very own choice. My new workspace is a disaster, but perhaps, with another way of thinking, it is going to be a good time.
…or at least a tolerable time.
So sometimes you have to step back and think about many things in silence.
The silence does not ask questions, but it can give us an answer to everything. We are used to finding someone to discuss anytime, anywhere. For example, you can post any question you are currently busy with. But sometimes it’s worth to let things sink for a while. It may then take longer to get an answer that will satisfy you. But it will be your very own answer that you might never have discovered otherwise.
